Tim Toma has been an attorney since 1987. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, magna cum laude. He is licensed to practice in the State of Ohio, U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Tim started his legal career with a small law firm in Cleveland, Ohio which specialized in representing primarily health care providers. Tim’s practice area focused on business and commercial litigation.

In February of 1991, Tim started his own law practice, in Euclid, Ohio, focusing on litigation, collection, probate, wills and estate planning, business law, and real estate issues. Tim’s practice has consistently grown since then, based on his underlying business and legal philosophy of providing top quality service, promptly and responsively, at a reasonable fee. Tim has represented numerous individuals, particularly regarding their wills and estate planning, or with real estate transactions. He also represents a number of businesses, often focusing on the collection of delinquent accounts, business planning, and organization.

Tim is also a member of different professional organizations including the Christian Legal Society and the Ohio State Bar Association. He was the president of the Euclid Chamber of Commerce in 1998.

Tim obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton in 1982, graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, double majoring in economics and finance. Tim also graduated at the top of his class from Cathedral Latin School in 1978.

In August of 2004, Tim was appointed as the Law Director for the City of Maple Heights, the city in which he grew up. As Law Director, Tim was involved in virtually every aspect of city government, and managed the city’s litigation. Tim served as law director until December of 2007, when there was a change in administration.

Tim is assisted in his law practice by an excellent and experienced support staff, and other associated attorneys. In addition to serving clients in his own areas of expertise, Tim is able to refer matters to other attorneys, in Ohio and in other states, involving personal injury, workers compensation, domestic relations and family law, criminal law, etc.
